    we got stop out abotu 230 last year all they did was pull up ask to see the fish asked if we had are fishing lic. and off the went never broaded the boat. i think the seen us bottom fishing and wanted to see if we had them so called endangered ARS. but nice work guys

    Let's not forget, FWC's greatest concern is public safety. Personally, it's a good feeling knowing they are out there, especially 30 miles out.

    I agree it is nice knowing help is out there. I'm not trying to stir the pot but I thought it's the coast guards job for safety and fwc for state wild life management. I just don't understand why they are more than 3 miles out?

    Agreed. I'm sure they have a justifiable reason for being out there. Plus, I believe FWC receives federal grant money for spending time patrolling federal waters. Great to see nice numbers of dolphin this early. It's lining up to be a great spring.
