    Sonar issues-Lowrance

    My GPS/sounder unit started flaking out on sonar when running over 10kts. I replaced the transducer and it is still having same problem. The cable is not cut/spliced. Do these units just go bad after a while or is there another issue I need to look at?

    Please define "flaking out". What model unit do you have and what transducer do you run and describe how it is mounted and where. And do you have an LSS1?
