Thankfully, my Mercury Verado motors didn't fail so we were able to enjoy a full day of fishing. Fished several spots ranging from 15 -25 miles from the pass. Caught lots of red grouper. Threw back a nice gag. These closed seasons are absurd and confusing. Please write your state/federal representatives and complain on a regular basis.
Great haul, and Black Snapper. I wish I could find a bunch of Red Grouper. All we're finding out of Destin are Gags.
