Thanks for all the encouragement guys! and lemaymiami thats awesome, a great tip for sure especially when I get out there with the bigger reds pointing the rod down definitely makes sense as far as lightening the resistance. And I hope you old guys get your rods soon![]()
Nice job - I'd go with a light drag and palm it if need be. Once you get a good feeling for it, you can tighten it up a bit. If you don't already know how, you should consider learning how to double-haul. It will come in handy on a windy day...
Looks like you're off to a great start! Bluefish are a blast on fly gear...just wish we had more chances to catch them down this way.
