    Exotics fishing this weekend

Hoping the sun pokes out just a little bit because I'm trying to knock some exotics off my checklist. Knifefish, peacocks, cichlids (?).

Heading here, I think. With some shiners.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

So, crappy conditions. Cool, decent blowing, no sun whatsoever.

Took some shiners out and hooked up first cast with what was probably a peacock. Lost it because I'm a dolt. Second cast, reeled this on in. Nothing the rest of the day. Fished a bridge for knifefish, was told by everybody that passed in their boats that it was good spot. No bites.

Couple guys were catching some bass on wacky-rigged senkos, but no other exotics to speak of...

    Definitely going back though!!

You got it off your bucket list. A peacock is on my list not the others.
