Shimano Teramar TMC-76H for bass flippin?

I am new to the concept of flipping for bass. I have a saltwater snook rod I was thinking of repurposing to pull bass out of the slop. Link to the model is below.

Right now I have a Daima 300PWR on it. It is a great combo for pulling snook jigs and swimbaits- just curious if it is too much rod and reef for flippin.

    Here is the rod:

    Any advice appreciated. Happy 2018!

It'll be fine. Most flipping rods are a more moderate action though. Use heavy, 50 or 65, lb line. It would make a good frog rod too.
