    11/25 Jupiter Gaffers

Had a good day out there today. Got gogs from Matt, ran straight out, trolled around a little from 100ish to 350, saw a sail freight training in 230 so we set up live baits, free line and on the kite for nada. Trolled down towards Juno and found a bunch of birds working something that was partially submerged. Set up the live baits in 140 or so off Juno, and picked up 3 nice gaffers on freelined gogs over the course of a couple hours. Bite died, so we trolled back north and didn't find anything else except some bonitas. Long swells, north wind, was a nice day today.

Interesting note that the big fish had 4 whole goggle eyes and a filefish, along with a couple ballyhoo in his gut. others were stuffed with ballyhoo and crabs. Amazing how much these fish can stuff in their guts...

Nice work. I ran out to 650' and found a few schoolies but nothing near that size. Congrats on a good day.
