Well we all know the weatherman lies and today was no different. We ran out to 35’ – 40’ depth in a sloppy 3’ – 4’ sloppy chop. The only thing that was on our side was the wind was to our back on the way out, as it would have been COLDER if it weren’t. We managed a few Red Grouper and Gags stopping at several marks in this area. As the day was getting late we worked our way in, stopping at some other areas along the way. Now this time last year I trolled an area 10 miles south of our area and limited out. As it was late now I asked the guys if they wanted to chance it, we all agreed. We ran to my spot in 25’ and began the troll. Again this spot didn’t fail us as we managed three more Gags for the box, including two SLOB GAGS measuring 34” and 35 ¼ both weighting in just at 23# each.
