$750.00 for a bait pump? Do you need the $250.00 manifold too?

I currently have a Bait Sentry which is a great pump for flow but it's noisy. Really like the action but hate the noise, I'd like to replace it with something that has that flow but runs quiet.

No you don't need the manifold.
Yes the bait sentry's are like a garbage disposal.

$750... That must be one heck of a pump.

I prefer the little cartridge pumps where the guts just snap into place in the pre-mounted frame, in about 10 seconds. At $20-40 each, it's pretty painless to carry a spare cartridge or two.

If you have a barrier strip installed on the boat & have fork terminals already crimped on to the spare pump cartridge, then a swap out is pretty quick & easy, even while rolling around in a bit of a chop.

The little cheap pumps usually last me a few years. True marine grade terminals make a big difference in how long the wiring lasts.

I have had my share of trouble with Rule pumps & switches, going all the way back to the 1980's. Some of the Rule components have been bad right out of the package. I don't consider Rule to be a premium brand. I consider them to be on par with all the cheap stuff.

Same for me. The Bait Sentry is noisy, but it's been very reliable. 3 years and going strong
