    Fort Pierce Mixed Bag

Fished the moon this past Friday and the snapper bite was nothing short of epic. Dropped the trolling motor at 645 and had a 3 man federal limit by 905. All the fish were quality. Aside from the lane the smallest mango was 16" and the biggest weighed 8.5lbs on the boga. Fished in 80', needed 4-5ozs with a moderate SW current, and bait didn't matter...if it hit the bottom it was eaten in 30 seconds or less. Hands down the best bottom bite I have experienced.

Yesterday started off great when the first bait down was inhaled by a 16lb red grouper. Mangroves were being a pain in the rear, but we slowly loaded up the cooler. Had maybe one or two snapper on greenies, but the sardines were definitely the hot bait yesterday. Got broken off by a decent phin on the bottom rod when it hit a cut bait on the fall. Fished in 80', needed 2-3oz with a NE current. Overall it was a fun day

These guys are around and chewing well.

Way to go Adam! Saw your catch at the cutting table - I was talking with you while we were cleaning fish, lamenting the fact that we did not stay at the 12a to load up on sardines. You guys were on fire. Nice work bro!

I wanna see that pic you took of the grouper and a mango in its mouth. One of your buddies took a pic of a snapper in its mouth, that was a slob red grouper, pic on the boat deck does not depict size of that fish.

    Again, nice work guys!

I'm not sure why you kept that sandlefish... They taste like shoe leather to me
