Question Who should be able to vote in presidential elections?

IMHO, only taxpayers and/or property/business owners.

It is our hard earned money -- the distribution of which these elected politicians are seeking control of.

We pay for everything else so what is the big argument against our asking to be able to have a major say in what goes on in Washington?

    What say you?

Have you read Atlas Shrugged recently?

A complete strike by producers is always the last resort.

    Not everyone.
No matter how peaceful, humanitarian and tolerant you are, no matter how well-meaning and honorable your goals - if you ask for a new government law, program or plan, ultimately that program will be paid for with property taken by force from others and the law will be enforced at the point of a gun.

Maybe you could give non-property/business owners 3/5ths of a vote?

Instead of a voter ID card, provide copies of your most recent tax returns. If you don't pay any FED tax, then you don't get to vote in FED elections.

Our voting systems is awkward (electorial college) and probably does not reflect the will of the people. Given only a choice of two candidates is probably not the best way to run an election.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Sorry man, but your whole replies center on your ad hominem comments and leave a huge empty target to shoot at if I wanted.

You can attack me all day with such comments.

I consider that delicious food and nourishment for these brief rebuttals.
