My beautiful wife and I went out fishing on the February 18th and she caught her first redfish ever.
Well, we decided to go again yesterday (Feb 25) and we were having little luck since the wind was howling so we anchored up on the leeward side of a spoil island and I caught one small trout. Here she is looking good fishing on the platform.
So, even though the wind was blowing over 20 mph and the lagoon was white capping like mad with big swells we decided to power over to a flat, throw out the drift sock and see if anything was biting. What can I say, she outclasses me and she out fished me when she pulled this 21.5" trout to the boat. Her first ever gator trout and she was happy as heck.
