The last picture I had of him was from the first week in October. Having not seen him in almost two months I had assumed he had been killed. This being said I was surprised to see him trotting across a hay field at about 180 yards last Friday shortly after first light. After my third grunt he finally stopped and the Hornady .270 Super Performance did the rest. He only went about fifty yards after the shot, barely making it to the treeline. He grossed 121 and 1/8 inches and netted down to 113.
