    3/22/13 Dania Macs and Jack

Report was macs were hitting near the pier. Winds and outgoing tide made it look "sporty" like my buddy and mentor Android likes To say. Close to limit of macs using all artificials. HIT EVERYTHING. Biggest fish trolling 1 1/4 oz spoon.
Jack hit ballyhoo on kingfish rig with sinker removed trolling east from towers. Thanks for that Android. Kids said mac bit was over till I used a different jig and got four more in the boat. Did not head out as big waves. Knew we were done when surfers showed up.
Two high school guys asked if they could tag along. Taught how to get out and back through the building surf. Fun day.Click image for larger version.

I coolered a limit of Macs on Anglins Pier on the 23rd tossing a white 3/8 crappie jig W 6# test - Way cool fun on the ultralight Packed it up and had breakfast by 9 AM Gotta love the Spring Run Now - if I could just coax a few Pompano into showing up.....

Went out a little south of the pier 3/30 and there were still a few left (no pics). They were hitting best on my crystal minnow until I had an inexplicable line failure (had wire leader- line broke above the leader) and no more minnow. Surf was a bit challenging.
