Nanna River 12/17
I havn't posted in awhile but I figured I would throw up a report from the other day. Me and a buddy of mine hit the Nanna river the other day in search of some redfish. We got out early and started poling looking for tails and other signs of fish activity. The fishing was very slow for the first few hours but once the sun got up pretty high we started catching fish. My buddy is a spin fisherman so he stuck with jigs the whole day and he ended up with 4 midslot reds and a small trout. I started out with the jig and once I got a fish or two I switched to the fly. I ended up with 4 mid slot reds and a rat as well as a few nice trout and one snook. Here is a few pics.

Nice report. The water appears a bit cloudy, were you blind casting or sight fishing?
-
Unfortunately the water was too dirty to sightfish. We concentrated our blindcasts in the area we knew the fish were in.

Nice job man!! Where abouts in the Banana river were you guys? Not looking for exact location by any means.... but the areas I have been in the nanna lately have been crystal clear. The Indian river has experienced some cloudy water over the last 2 weeks around South MI and rockeldge but I havent seen much dirty water in the banana!

Just the North Banana. Yes I was not too happy with the water clarity

Nice work with the Blind casting!!!!

Nice work, has the banana river been victim to the algae bloom that killed all the grass flats in the IRL or did it survive. Cant tell with that really dirty water. Great job with blind casting.
