Headed out on the water around 2pm and had plans to go chase some cobia. As weather would have it, our plans were quickly altered and back to the ramp to change out gear. We hit some a couple areas that I like to fish on low tides and caught the normal reds and trout. I did however hook up with this guy who put on quite the show on light tackle.

The big trout have definately been showing up. I normally catch bigger trout in the main river areas. I was really suprised to catch this guy in 4 ft of water. Derek, I have got to get my BLS and ACLS stat. I am about to switch jobs and I have to get my re-certs as soon as possible. I'll text you later to find out when your next class is.

I've caught tons of small trout off that dock at night, but never a big one like that.
How many inches was it?
He was 29". I have caught some really good fish in that creek system.
