I was wondering if anyone can give me an approximate low tide depth at the back end of San Julian Creek. There is a house I may be interested in purchasing and I need to know if my 220 BayScout will float back there. Thanks
You probably will not be able to get in and out inside of half tide. Very shallow on the open flat leading to the creek. There are a few deep holes in the creek itself. I had to give it 2 hours on either side of the tide in my carolina skiff fwiw. That was several years ago.
The other poster is correct. I live on the creek. You can expect to get in and out three hours either side of the high tide. It can be four hours depending on the wind. On a good northeaster, you could bring a Hatteras in there at high tide.., and tie it up to your back porch.
