6-10 Fun Times and Tasty Treats Once Again Off Jupiter

Been way too long since Mrs. LA and I have fished together off Jupiter. Not much luck trolling with some tuna feathers early but set up on the bottom for a few hours this morning..threw back several triggers, tons of huge bar jacks, short muttons, porgies and grunts. Cheers to all.

Nice!!  Short mutton’s seems to be going around.  Those are some good eats there.  Enjoy

Nice haul.  But you threw back the porgies?    They eat better than those ytails.  still......nice day.

Nice catch... keep in mind the “trash” fish, A.K.A grunts, porgies, trigger... taste equal if not bettter to snapper.. but to each his own.. nice catching and good eatings you have there!! What type of tackle and bait did you use?

Once in awhile we keep other fish but when we have a good snapper day that is all we really want to keep and eat. Frankly we just enjoy the snapper so much more than other species but to each his own. Tackle is typical for bottom fishing, nothing special.
