Wahoo out of PE

Ran into a nice Wahoo just south of PE.  Bite was on a naked ballyhoo in about 200ft

I saw a boat out of Lauderdale bring in 11 recently that put together didn't weigh what that one weighs!  Really nice size for these parts.

Great fish!! Were you trolling that ballyhoo on top or was it behind a trolling lead?

It seems that people are catching a lot more wahoo now than in past.
I don't remember seeing more than few wahoo a year while growing up in the 70-80's but I started seeing a lot more of them starting about 5 or 6 years ago.  Now it's seems I see few dozen every year.

You just didn’t have people posting their fish online then...I’m sure they were catching!
