Take part in UNC survey targeting recreational fishermen!
We are forwarding the message below on behalf of Erin Spencer, a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill, with information about a study she is conducting and a link to the study's survey.
Are you a recreational snapper grouper fisherman? We want to hear from you!
I am a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill conducting a research study about the perceptions of the South Atlantic snapper grouper fishery and thoughts on recreational electronic reporting, including the new recreational electronic reporting pilot platform MyFishCount, created by the South Atlantic Fisheries Management Council (SAFMC) in partnership with the Snook and Gamefish Foundation. The study involves a short survey, which will help us assess recreational angler perceptions and opinions of recreational reporting and influence the design of the pilot reporting platform to better suit recreational angler needs. Your survey responses will be received without any of your identifiers linked to you, and there is no direct benefit for you to participate in this study.
The study is administered through the Curriculum for the Environment and Ecology at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. The survey will take about 10 minutes of your time. Please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
