  Did it have small hairlike things on the top of its head?  If so, I think it is a Hairy Blenny - Labrisomus nuchipinnis

  Looks about right from what i see on google. Not sure if it had the hairlike things.

  First one, I would have guessed a juvenile wrasse of some sort, but I have low certainty in that opinion.
  
  The second one is an inshore lizard fish.  When you catch those, it usually means that you have drifted too far away from the reef to still keep getting snapper.
