Anybody have any updates on where these alleged violations went? Any court dates pending?

Biologist put it this way - a big guy got knocked out by an even bigger guy. That's all I know. Thankfully no-one got shot.

No, I think he is talking about how " The men of foul" got mouthy with undercover FWC....and at the end of the hunt...tickets were written.

I think next year...someone leaves the marsh in handcuffs...

No - we were told that there was a knock-down-drag-out fight and the smaller of the two lost. Rumor had someone jumping the line by launching off the paved road and things got nasty when he/they were/was called on it.

I'll be surprised if it is a free-for-all this coming season.

Rich, that is a completely different situation that happened early in the year.

Haha! Careful, you're not 20, 30, or even 40 any more... You might get your old **** stuffed inside a culvert up there....

From what I've seen, there are more serious googans per capita at MINWR than any other duck hunting venue in FL. I don't know if it's all the restrictions they have asked for and had implemented on themselves or if it's something in the water....

one things for sure, you wouldnt fit in that culvert so your safe for now

If there are birds there like this year you will have all the excitement you can stand. The group I had a run in with was about 8 guys that seemed to be in there late 20's. I would recommend you bring at least 3 others with you if
    plan to go.

I know one of the idiots...he's no kid... just a fat Yankee. :D

Yeah there's so many birds you hear hundreds shots just ringing out and see a boat pull up to the ramp with some bluebills and coots wondering what the heck they were all shooting at lol definitely worth fighting over....

I did not get in a physical altercation. I called law enforcement and they were there when i came out. I told them
I was the one who called. some of them where not happy with me.

    I love duck hunitng.
But the more I see what goes on out there and read about nonsense like this over a bunch of bluebills and coots... it's pathetic. It really is.

    You did the right thing....

I feel confident more "sting" type things will be in the future...and arrests will be made.

    Did he win?

All I can say is keep that nonsense up there north of SR 60... That place is off the charts with craziness. What is going to happen up there when someone gets shot or killed from getting physically violent over a mangrove clump, slow boat launch, or any other stupid thing?

I didn't bump into him after his boxing match...but old fat and slow doesn't sound like a winning combo.

I went the whole season with none of that... Thankfully

I’d really love to see a group like uwf get behind an initiative to permanently ban anyone involved in physical altercations from minwr or any state lands.

I think they need to work on following the laws themselves

I think you need to add “allegedly” to your post.

Thanks - RT. Lots of excitement, almost like the good old days.

    H20 - LOL!

Anybody have the incident report for this one like the other alleged incident?

Just think in a month or so we'll see the same type activity in Boca Gran Pass. Just change "duck" to "tarpon". The abundance of selfish nitwits in FL is sometimes truly scary.

    That about sums it up.
