Windy Day Fishing! 11/28/12

Went out after school to test out some new lures that Treasure Coast Tackle is now carrying. They are "Unfair Lures". My first 2 casts resulted in 2 baby snook! The wind was blowing 15 out of the north, but I was hiding in the mangroves. One snook after another on the Unfair Lures Mullet. All around 20 inches until my buddy shows up and hooks up to a much better one. Pulls some drag then I go down and land it. Solid fish, just under slot! He left after a few more fish and I went back to catching. It was fish after fish, they couldn't resist the Unfair Lures and they are better than a MirrOdine in my opinion. Finished the night up with a little swordspine snook! 22 snook in just over an hour. Not too bad. My buddy also scoped out a pond we've been wanting to fish and caught a 26 inch freshwater snook! If you want to purchase Unfair Lures, treasurecoasttackle.com carries them!

Both the Rip N Slash and Mullet swim if you just straight reel it, but I was twitching it today. Fantastic lures

Treasurecoasttackle.com has them and right now it is free shipping on any orders over $30. Still only $2.99 shipping under that though.

That is great advertising Joupdog1. those snook may have been baies, but they all will grow up to be a great fight one day. Enjoyed the report and pics, the small ones just so clean looking for a pic.:applause

According to the mosquito control representative that I talked to when I called they have no problems with people fishing back there. There are "no castnetting near pumps" signs so they obviously expect people to fish there.

still trespassing if your not a authorized keyholder whether your fishing, netting, or hiking.

    Nicely done!!!

I know Billy Bones in Stuart and PSL have the Unfair Lures. Bruce has done a great job stocking his store and actually fishing with the inventor of the Unfair Lures.

A little support of your local tackel shop goes a long way.
