Italy has the world's best pickpockets.

The Mafia controls the garbage …

“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.

    Heres Tom with the Weather.”

So Southern Italian women are better than Northern Italian?
Arguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon... No matter how good you are, the bird is going to crap on the board and strut around like it won anyway. nj

Not a rule but often southern women are more feminine and sexy than northern ones.
In my opinion Mediterranean women are the best (indeed my wife is from south).

On the other hand...... I am today in my 10th day in an Agriturismo outside Montepulciano. I have been visiting all the adjacent towns.
    1) no garbage anywhere on the roads or cities
    2) no graffiti anywhere
    3) all bathrooms ( hotels, restaurants, piazzas, parks, monuments)
        are SUPER cleanñ
    4) very few overweight people
    5) have not seen a  McDonald, Burger King,  Subway, KFC since
I got here. Not even on major road exits
    6) very safe. Even in major cities where petty theft and pickpockets
are the major crime. None in smaller towns
    7) a great majority of people speak English and/or Spanish
    8) people are friendly and helpful
    9) food is fresh and good

maybe a bad place to live or be a citizen, but a beautiful and safe place to visit
Are you staying on the same farm the whole time or moving around?
I am staying in one place the entire week. About 3-5 miles outside Montepulciano. Every place you want to visit - Siena, Montalcino, , San Quirico D’orcia, Montechiello, Pienza etc. are 20 - 60 minute drive. You do not have to pack and unpack or deal with check in and check out hotel times by staying in one place. Wake up and have a relaxed breakfast and decide which town(s) you want to visit and back whenever you want.
    Lots of great wineries!

Don’t miss to reach the Monte Amiata peak.
During a windy day the landscape is breathtaking.
And meantime visit Bagni San Filippo (from the Cassia 7/8 miles on the same road toward Amiata peak), termal water (hot spring) in the woods, very suggestive.

And obviously I think you have already visited Bagni Vignoni, very close to San Quirico.
    If not don’t miss it

I'm at the window, let me some months for collecting some facts, at the moment we can do just some gossip.

    First fact.
It seems they are walking on the right path.

All the 600 are economic illegal immigrants and not refugees (check their countries) and Italian Coast Guard rescued all of them.

    Just a fast update.
Several EU's sissies are now screaming hysterically :D .
Their former servant, that country which under the Dems' government have allowed to everybody to land, is now defending its borders, its sovereignty and its citizens. They weren't ready to this, a very hard hit at their slavery business.

I'm coming back to the window.
