Yea. So. Where the hell can I get a jig head, preferably 1/8-3/4 oz. with a hook that can take the abuse of a 2+ hour fight on large fish? I thought I was buying the good VMC hook, but it couldn't handle it.

    This cobia was the size of your head. No shark is going to be hooked perfectly once on 20 flouro and a second time on 30 flouro and not leave a single abrasion on the line. Maybe once, not twice. Plus I seen it. Nice troll.

    We fight 'em straight up and down here and I've had bulls on for an hour with no abrasion with a jig.. Happens all the time. Hell, beerman (I think it was with me) and I had one that we just put the rod in the holder on a 30TW set up for swords and kept putting tension on him until he dragged us too far to even get cobes. That crap was hard to break too.
