Wading Stuart Power Lines Tomorrow

Any tips for wading the power lines in Stuart? Is much happening in the area? Is there a better place to go? Should we just be using paddle tails? We plan on hitting the mosquito ditches as the sun rises. I will give you an updated report tomorrow.

Don't waste your time, head North of Fort Pierce. River from St Lucie Inlet to Indian River is a vast wasteland of dead sea grass. Yesterday, fished Middle Point the whole going tide and only managed one 10" Spec on a DOA. Very little grass but plenty of bait moving around. Good Luck and welcome to the Orlando Sewer!

Next door neighbour was out today and had many redfish including keepers on the Flats around Fort pierce today. All caught on rubber.

I can confirm the lack of seagrass. Fished between the power lines and Walton Rd and although there was a lot of bait, not many gamefish were biting (zero in fact). Managed a 4 lb lady fish and small jack though. Went over to the mosquito ditches and hooked a few tarpon on the 2 weight fly rod (only stayed 30 minutes). Ended up fishing Hobe Sound and got a few solid trout.
