Hadn't been out since the Hurricane so decided to take advantage of the nice weather. Set up in 90-100 north of the inlet around noon. The bite was immediate and lasted the duration of the trip. However, we ran into a lot of short fish. Without exaggerating we caught 30-35 yellowtail and not one was a keeper. Caught two muttons that were 16-17 inches and a short red grouper. We tried moving out to 120 and found some nice sized porgies that we kept for dinner. Had a flat-line out the whole time but no takers. Tried some vertical jigging on some fish that we saw on the fishfinder but no luck. Was nice to be back out on the water. Hopefully we run into some bigger fish next time.
