Bahamas Style Thanksgiving

Pulled off a 3rd trip in 4 weeks to OBB. The wife and I now playing the role of empty nest we decided to forego the traditional Thanksgiving of cooking at home. The kids are grown and said go away if you want to. Made plans to go solo then close friends and extended family wanted to follow.

We had an awesome Thanksgiving dinner at Dockside cooked by Chef Pat and went almost the whole weekend without cooking a meal. Bonefishing was fun as well as fishing the flats on Sandy Cay. As usual I will let the pics tell the story.

Very nice. All things being equal we will be going back over to Abaco in March for six weeks.

That Christmas card photo, title should be Bahamian Cactus!
Maybe if we tell people that the brain is an App, they will start using it.

Mark, thanks for sharing your trips! Good to know that there is more to Grand Bahamas than just offshore fishing.
Congrats on becoming "empty nesters". It's a great feeling of freedom and accomplishments.
