Unbreakable Igloo Cooler Hinges - Patent Pending

I have been making these from retired Fire Hose and selling them on eBay for a while. Many happy buyers and great reviews. Check it out. http://www.ebay.com/itm/302021356213?var=&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649. Also just recently built a website. https://hinged.biz

They are also available at Fish Heads Tackle at Sailfish Marina in Stuart and Snook Nook in Jensen.

Do you make them for coleman coolers also? I think I only have 1 igloo and a few colemans. Great idea for sure!

Most Coleman hinges are built with plastic wedges molded in the hinge that acts as a stop to hold the lid open. As is, my hinges will not stop the lid from going too far open. The lid would stop when it lays against something or opens all the way until the hinge doubles over. I am working on a solution, but have not completed testing. I have made a few on special request. If you would like to try some out, PM (Personal Message) me through the forum and we can chat. Most igloos have a strap on the lid to hold the lid open so they don't need the wedge to stop the lid.

How about the front latch replacement. It breaks also.

I do basically the same thing with cut pieces of a tow strap. Never thought to get a patent on it though...lol

Front latches (for Igloos) are also sold on eBay and the website.
