Offshore kayak fishing set up.

I had a lot people ask about how I set up my kayak for offshore. So I made a video. It is a little long but I hope that I cover everything.

PBP thanks for the video. I have that exact same kayak and I just put a ff/GPS using the clips. Got a few bugs to work out like the transducer setup. Mine swivels but I didn't see how you had yours setup.

Hi Pete - This is a great video - with tons of tips. I was curious as you mention the open kayak (more canoe) design. You point out the self bailing and the seat as great features. I see two new Native models online. The first is the Ultimate FX solo which appears to be more canoe type. The second is the Slayer which seems to be more "Compartmentalized" and sit on top but seems to self bail. But it could be the pic. Any thoughts on the new models and comparison to the magic?
    Thanks

The Slayer is the replacement for the Magic. It is self bailing and has a great seat. I still have the Magic and I have a Slayer. Fish both offshore as well as inshore. The Ultimate FX is not self bailing but is a great inshore kayak.

PBP, I always like your videos and learn something from each one. For some reason, this particular link is taking me to your introduction to your channel and not the kayak set up link. Evidently it is on my end because other folks are finding the correct video. Any ideas on why I am not linking to the set up video? Thanks
