What have you been tying (pt. 2)

It doesn't appear that the content we lost is ever coming back, so I guess we'll just have to throw some new stuff together. Post 'em up!

3/0 triple stack SF high tie.

Posted this the last time around, but now i've lost me login info, and i've mostly been tying steelhead stuff lately, so i thought i'd throw this up here again. It's a good pattern, after all.

    The Big Ugly...

Hollow tied craft fur with gold angel hair and UV pearl wing mixed in, CCG flex head.

Used a plain version this morning with no eyes and a light coat of CCG on the head to maintain bulk, killer on big trout. Added eyes and glossed the flex with Sally Hansens (it stays flexible) to catch fisherman.

ODC, that is a nice looking fly. I have not enough time to use the SF blend enough. I did some hollow flies with it. Why not tie some on the underside of the hook?

If you're using photobucket copy the URL but start with and end with
The bottom pic of notebook is actually what the pic of the fly is but is displayed as an image. Hope this helped.

You can do whatever you want with it. For this particular pattern, I want as much of the gap of the hook exposed as possible.

Finally was able to re-register & post. Hello to all & its nice to be back. Bill- I'm fresh out of 6/0 trebles also. Wow no signature & one post. Sort of gives one a moist feeling. Hope "new & improved" means something.
