Went out this morning (8-11) to fish for what else, Tarpon. Plenty of bait, near shore and outside. Water too cold still for tarpon I did fish for about 2.5 hours and only saw 3 tarpon. winds picked up at about 11 and changed from a w wind to se wind. The swell also picked up but not that big of a deal.
I'm going back tomorrow with no expectations except to enjoy the ocean. Boating for tarpon tomorrow? save your gas.
