Shore Fishing Lagoon Report - August 4

Caught about 10 redfish, biggest was 22". Got a couple fun ladyfish 21" that put up a decent fight. About 5 small trout.

Walking back I was going through a puddle about 1ft deep 50ft long, halfway through I see something underwater about 5ft away.........HOLY @%!^ friggin alligator!!! Around 5-6ft long. It had its head underwater and was just looking at me, I slowly backed away and found another way back.

Awesome man!! the gators are making a comeback! seemed like they all disappeared after the 2010 Freeze!

Yea, be careful over there. I have been seeing gators in IRL and ML about every day. And they always seem to stalk me when cast netting from the bank.

Definitely! Gonna throw some rocks in them and scope it out before I jump in!!! Sure surprised me, there were tons of leopard frogs jumping outta the puddle so I was looking out for snakes, then to see a gator in a 30ftX12ft puddle!!!! Needed to change my underwear after that
