Can anyone tell me if there are ANY keeper trout in the PC Bays? I keep getting the 12 inchers and have fished from 10 ft. all the way in to the 3 foot flats and pot holes...Really getting frustrated.

Early morning in the skinny water. They are eating topwater baits.

I'll take you one of these days.

Have yet to do it this year, but by this time last year I'd caught probably 50 keepers and at least 10 over 20" with the biggest measuring out to 26". That was in 5 trips.

Of course I think I do it a little bit differently than you do.

BIG noisy topwaters! Zara Super Spooks, Topdogs, etc. I've caught a few pigs during the day but 75% of gators are going to bite during pre-dawn twilight but before the sun actually comes over the horizon.

Good luck,
Alex

Sure thing, you're welcome! Those gators can be tricky.
