I set out to make a movie with the help of a fellow forum member known as TheUglyFly. First of all, Brad, thank you so much for your help! We had a lot of fun getting your biggest redfish to date.
The day started off well for us as we had the whole flat to ourselves for a couple hours. Within 10 minutes of shutting the motor off, we were on our school.

Brad started the day off right with a fish stretching to 40"+. His biggest so far.
Released alive and well we set off for fish number 2.

A fish he had trouble handling stretched close to the 50" mark. Now he has caught his biggest!
He managed one more smaller fish for the day and we called it good, but not before I played hooky.

I was able to get 1 hook free but still had one more embedded pretty good. No wire cutting pliers and after a few minutes of sweating, near vomiting, (I get queasy from blood) and agony from trying to rip this thing from my flesh, we finally flagged down another boat who luckily had some pliers to cut the barb off.
Hope you enjoy the video as much as I did putting it together! There is a nice treat at the end. ;)
