Late Post - Caught my largest snapper ever, on the Capt Anderson out of PCB .Nobody on board had a scale & naturally,I caught it Mothers day weekend b4 snapper season opened , so we released ,with much regret! :banghead
I'm 6' & fish is against my chest - no fudging - Best guess on weight?

He's a bit over 36" and good width..I'd guess a 20lb class fish... Very nice!

Looks like you've got your arm extended toward the camera...making the fish look bigger...I'm not gonna guess on it's weight, but I can tell ya we caught a 30 inch fish last week that weighed 13 lbs...

Friend of mine caught a 31 incher Monday out of Panama City. Weighed right at 15.

12-14 lbs... they always look bigger than real weight... nice fish though

-made sure to hold it right beside me - had my arm straight up - deckhand had it @ 36",

My first thought was looke at the big white scales... HUGE fish!

Next thought was that he looked a bit close to the cameral.

Next thought was 13 or 14 pound fish.... and I favor the 14, but barely.

Just my thoughts.
