Ventured out of Port Canaveral Saturday to do a little scouting with Capt Randy for the upcomming lobster season. Found the water a little colder, 59 deg F and dirtier than last week with vis an awesome 10'. Worked to the south east direction and worked the ledge in 80' Managed to find some nice lobster hotels and a few of the usual suspects sea bass, sheephead and triggers. While peeking under one paticular ledge at a nice big ol bug I see a nice flounder sitting off to the side and decide to evict the flounder from the hotel.
Turned out to be my biggest yet at 12#'s:Rockon

Captian Randy dives the ledges with the same findings and wants to dive a small wreck before we call it a day. When he hands me his stringer topside I need a crane to bring it aboard. Nice Triggers, Sheeps and Porgys plus a few flatties, he also got his best at 11#'s:cool
