Had the oppurtunity to fish ODC's bass muppet yesterday. This is a big fly once it osorbs water. I fished it on my CC 9wt 8' rod with a WulffAmbush Tri taper line. My combo was perfect for throwing the fly. This fly was amazing in such I through it in junk that someone would throw a soft plastic frog in and it never hung up. It worked through heavy lilly pads as well. I never once got hung up. Even though it was a still calm slow day I did manage to hook into a goon fish early in the day. You can bet this fly will be one of my favorite flies to throw.
