Took a few gulp shrimp on some cotee jigheads and fished several times from 6pm to 2:30am last Saturday. Weather was hot, no breeze, and a ton of no-seeums eating us up. Landed a few under slot flatties around Down The Hatch as the sunset on a dead low tide. Picked up fishing again around midnight and landed some small trout, several flatties, and a ton of ladyfish.
Fishing is a tough sell inshore at Ponce without a boat... and I've haven't fished saltwater in about 6 months or so. We did get broken off a couple of times around 2am. In any event, we didn't snap any pics other than this little flatty with my 6'8" buddy Tom... which makes it look even smaller :p It was barely slot, so we threw it back, gave up, and went and crashed after this photo :)
