Put in at the WSEG ramp at 5:45am. I was quite surprised that I was able to get in and out of there with my 1720se Action Craft. I was the largest boat putting in there. We found a good size school of Reds. They wouldn't touch any artificials only shrimp. We didn't catch any in the slot all were too big, which is fine by me. The smallest was 32" and the biggest 38".

Thanks for the kind words guys. Does anyone know how much further the Beacon 42 ramp is from the WSEG Ramp? It was a little sketchy getting my boat in and out of there due to the water level and was thinking the Beacon 42 ramp might be better.

Not sure exactly, but beacon 42 isn't much further. But, I don't think you'll have any better situation with your boat.

Maybe a mile or two..but I also don't think beacon 42 will help you at all. IF you go all the way to beacon, you might as well launch at Haulover

42 is @ 2.5 miles down teh road, and it will be much better than WSEG. just have to pay attention and stay in middle of channel when departing/ arriving.

That ramp is sketchy Beacon 42 as well but do'able. I have launched my A/C 1802 coastline there but I have a 4 wheel drive. Troy Perez launches his A/C 17 there all the time.

I've got 4-wheel drive as well. I'm going to put n at Beacon 42 this week. I put n at the Scottsmoor Ramp all the time and have never had a problem there, so I don't think Beacon 42 will be a problem, just better than the WSEG.
