Have had good luck with both the trout and reds last few nights fishing both top water and live baits; water is about 10in at high tide. Got the nice 33n red below on “walk the dog” plug around 1am; I think she has been eating pretty well. 5 spots ..... Good times.

There is no tide in the river

If he lives down south closer to sebastian he could be affected by some tides I think.. Thats a nice red though, keep it up!

It wasn't stated where he was fishing "south Indian river" is vague, also some people seem to think that the water height in the river is tidal. And speaking of clueless...take the camera down to the water.

I am sure you are brilliant and a much better fisherman than I can ever hope to be; however people like you are the reason people no longer post on this forum. If you were actually trying to educate me regarding tides or the (lack thereof according to you) you could have sent me a PM. You seem to be much more concerned with TRYING to make people look stupid. As I said we are talking fishing here; let’s try and play nice.

LOL! Ummm let see, I stated what I know to be true (yes there is tide around and south of the inlet) and if it wasn't correct maybe you shouldn't have been a wise azz and called me "CLUELESS" on a public forum. Maybe you should follow your own advise.

Nice fish For sure! I have been wading in the area you fish and when the tide moves you can feel it and see it for that matter. On a flood tide you can see a movement a few miles away from the inlet in both directions. it was strange for me the first time i saw it but heck the fishing got better..

That is one nice looking redfish. I've been seeing nice ones like that up REAL skinny in the SI area recently. It must have been awesome to see her hit a topwater on a foot deep flat....:R

My first post on the new forum. You can call what your want, but yesterday I pushed my boat up close to spoil island sandbar and waded for about 2 hours, and came to to a boat that was almost high and dry. Took awhile by myself to get off. I call it a tide, and a one at that. Nice red DuPont. Did bag some nice trout.
PS I fished the IRL before the bridge went over the Sebastian Inlet.
