Caught a nice 32 inch snook today and broke off 2 more in the same range, among other things, in the New Smyrna area. I've never seen them around this area before, at least during the day...Warmer water temps maybe? Regardless, it was a pleasant surprise for a guy who has spent most of his life on the west coast on florida tangling with these fish more often...

There are some nice fish in the Ponce area, just not a ton of them like some areas of the west coast. A 32 is a good'n any day of the week!! Well done.

There are plenty to be caught in the area. I have caught my share of slot+ fish in and around ponce. There are a ton of smaller fish too

Theres only a handful of guys around here that can go catch one "on call". There's plenty of them, and usually if you catch one, there will be more. Nice work, keep that spot in mind come Sept.

Both the North and South Bridges in New Smyrna are fairly productive for big snook. They love to stalk the fenders.

Great job!
