Biggest Snapper this year, but not landed during ARS season......landed the first week of Gag season.

We were dropin whole dead cigar min for the grouper,(didn't have no live bait) pulled the grouper up on one side of the boat & the flounder on the other side, go figure.:huh

It is surely a shame they are in so poor shape and are nearly decimated now due to overfishing. My biggest was around 30 lbs this year.

Dang thats a big snapper. Did something grab it on the way up or is it just old? Scales look a little roughed up.

No, just old I think,,, this bad boy and about 12 others that day loved the squid jig.... and they all pretty much looked old... This one topped the scale at 24lbs
