9-1-2011 Went for Snook but ended up seeing Red SI

Didn't make it out at midnight so I decided to try my luck early this morning down at the inlet. Saw one snook caught that was 35" and that was it. The mullet were all over the place so very easy to get bait. The reds were going off on the north side down near the beach. Mostly small fish but I was able to get this 25" keeper red.

It was a bit of a zoo but not too bad. I went out on my Kayak the night before and caught 4 nice trout one on a top water and 3 on a Rapala Subwalk.

Yea, we drifted the inlet Thursday night for a couple hours with some nice live bait.
No snook.

That is the best looking redfish I've ever seen!! I'd like to see what you could do with some yellowfin or swordfish....and even more so I'd like to taste it!!
