Rushed from UCF to get home so I can go fishing. We left orlando at about 3pm and got to Sebastian inlet at 5 pm. Started to fish at 5:30pm after catching a live well full of finger mullets. Fishing for about 2 hours we managed to catch 3 keepers and 2 oversized redfish.
The biggest redfish was 28 inches and the other overslot one was 27 1/4 inches.

Keepers measured: 21 inches/ 24 inches/ 25 inches.
Also kept a big ol lady fish to make patties/ meatballs DON'T judge me if you havent tried it:rolleyes

Anyways here are the goodies:

Someone at the inlet was kind to snap the shot of all of us.

Nice catches!!
I pass by Sebastian Inlet alot but Im not sure what kind of gear I would need to take up there? The current along the pier looks rough sometimes.

Thanks, I use a Shimano sustain 8000 fe with a St. Croix tidemaster 8 ft' with 30lb braided line (suffix pro performance). Rigged with an 3 oz egg weight along with 80lb monofilament line as the leader (overkill but whatever it gets the job done).

Thanks!

When we got out there it was looking pretty good with about 7 anglers on the inlet, but everyone left since there was a storm coming our way, but surprisingly it wasn't as bad as it looked.

Ladyfish are good in my opinion. You get a spoon and scrape the meat in a bowl and season it up and fry it = P (no bones at all). (has a chewy consistency though, so i'm not sure if your into that).

lol i'll take as much as i can catch. Ain't every day you can grab as many ladies as you want, no one cares for them which means more patties for me = P.

I had two today that would have made you smile......

Luckily for me...I have enough Flounder that I don't need to eat Ladys...but if you like them...Bon Appetite!
