Predictions have asserted me to take actions and go out fishing before the Storms create havoc, if that is even the case.
Launching at 6:30am, enjoyed a cloudy, but soon to be sunny morning over in the Lagoon. Weather had a nice light breeze but kept the Lake at a glassy touch. Netted over 50+ fingering mullet on the beach and set out to fish around some points. When the sun is out, you are able to seperate the sand from the grass. It is still murkey out there and clearity is poor. o-well. We only used live mullet today and caught 2 red drums. Both were about the same size. Decided to keep one for the day. Let the other one go. Around 11:30am, the Redfish action died significantly. The Ladyfish became thick though and destroyed the rest of our livies. We also jumped a small tarpon! Left the water at 1:30pm with winds blowing 5-7 knots. Not a bad day at all :) So Thankful ! I did not catch a thing!!!! Grant Got them all today!
