Can anyone tell me approximately how long the currents will continue running in and out at Sebastian inlet in relation to the high and low tides posted on the tide chart?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

current changes about 2 1/2 hours different from tide changes at the mouth of the inlet

That is correct...with slight variations for wind speed and direction.
Also, If you are or are going to be an inlet "regular"....Make note of the time and date that you have slack or whatever tide you are looking to fish...write it down . If you want to fish that same tide again...count 14 days... Tides are due to the moons influence on the Earth....so if the moon is in the same place...the tide will be the same.

Thanks. Just to clarify, if the tide chart calls for low tide at 8am, the current will keep running out until around 10:30am?

No, it will slow down/stop about 20 mins before 10:30, the pick back up around 10:50-10:55 -- you get back 30-40 mins or so of slack tide. It picks back up pretty quick so be ready to change weights, lures, etc.
